Well established in the heart of The Pantiles, The CakeShed is a thriving independent café, specialising in hand made cakes, sandwiches and salads. Everything is made on the premises in the open kitchen and a range of delicious cakes are on display to tempt you while your order is being prepared. The CakeShed takes its coffee very seriously and the highly trained baristas won’t serve you a cup of coffee unless it’s perfect! If you prefer tea, there’s a selection of fourteen different types to try.

Fully licensed, The CakeShed is open seven days a week. During the summer, it’s also open on Thursday and Saturday evenings for Jazz on the Pantiles and Soul Train, when you can find local beers at the pop up bar, and wines, soft drinks and snacks inside. Bookings taken for private parties.
