Maggie Brand – Textile Artist

Most items start from the designs I create digitally and sublimate onto fabric (all done at home). Some items are bought as blanks for printing - tote bags, notebooks, mugs and coasters but the majority are sewn/made by me - chiffon scarves, clocks, handbags, purses, dog walker bags, lamps, small sewing boxes and other designs I am working on. The wooden bits of lamps and boxes are made by my husband from recycled wood, but it's all about the print, not the wood.
Some prints are hand painted using plants from the garden.
Another product I make is aprons upcycled from jeans and am planning on making other items from denim.
