The festive season is currently unfolding at The Pantiles, bringing with it a spectacular blend of joy, lights and magical moments! The sparkling journey continues up to 24th December, as The Pantiles is transformed into a winter wonderland for the entire community.

Kicking off the festivities was The Big Reveal, a captivating community event that captured the hearts of 1,500 visitors last year. This initiative, initially conceived by the Zero Waste Company, has now become a town-wide celebration. The magic started on 16th November, with a festive pre-show at Royal Victoria Place, featuring the Royal Tunbridge Wells Round Table pulling their sleigh in support of Nourish Community Food Bank & Mayor’s Toy Appeal.
The Big Reveal continued on 17th November, exploring Mount Pleasant, the High Street and Chapel Place. The grand finale unfolded on 18th November at The Pantiles, where the historic streets come alive with a cascade of events. The bustling Christmas market started at 10am to a series of enchanting performances and a light switch on. Our historic streets were packed with people! Every weekend until 24th December, The Pantiles is hosting enchanting Christmas markets from 10am to 4pm. These markets promise an array of festive finds, from unique gift ideas and homeware to delectable treats and seasonal fashion. From 25th November to 17th December, The Pantiles offers the chance to bring the magic of Christmas home with real Christmas trees. Elevate your holiday decor with these fragrant symbols of the season, available for purchase every Saturday and Sunday.
The Pantiles’ historic bandstand becomes a stage for the sounds of the season, harmonising the festivities with various singers, bands and choirs. From the soulful melodies of Jack Leon Mackey to the enchanting voice of Isla Shadwell, the air resonates with the spirit of Christmas. The Pickering Cancer Trust Choir and Crowborough Choir, along with other musical talents like Singing for Fun, Choir & Ko, Lindy Hop and the Southborough Singers, create a symphony that builds anticipation on the lead-up to the big day.
Bid farewell to 2023 and welcome the New Year in style at The Pantiles’ New Year’s Eve Party on December 31st, starting at 7pm. Immerse yourself in live music with Dave Ital and friends, dance to the beats spun by talented DJs, and savour gourmet delights from food stalls. As the clock strikes midnight, a breathtaking fireworks display will illuminate the night sky, marking the beginning of a promising 2024.
