This Christmas, The Pantiles will once again be transformed into a festive spectacle, offering an enchanting experience. From twinkling lights and Christmas markets to live music and our unmissable New Year’s Eve celebration, there’s something for everyone to enjoy this season.
The festive season officially begins on Friday 14th November, marking the grand opening of The Pantiles Christmas Markets. This much-loved annual tradition includes the switch-on of our dazzling Christmas lights, illuminating the historic colonnade and bandstand in true festive style.
Visitors can look forward to live performances, family-friendly entertainment and the magic of The Pantiles aglow with Christmas spirit. It’s a date not to be missed and the perfect way to begin the holiday season in Tunbridge Wells.
From 14 November to 24 December, The Pantiles will host its much-loved Christmas Markets, running Fridays to Sundays in November and Thursdays to Sundays in December. During Christmas week, the markets will be open daily from 18th to 24th December.
Visitors can browse beautifully decorated chalets filled with festive gifts, handmade crafts, food and drink, and seasonal treats. It’s the ideal destination for Christmas shopping, with everything from artisan products to luxury homeware and unique gifts.
Market Opening Hours
Fridays to Sundays in November: 11am to 8pm
Thursdays to Sundays in December: 11am to 8pm
Christmas Week (18th to 24th December): 11am to 8pm
Throughout the festive season, live entertainment will fill the air, featuring talented musicians, choirs and local theatre groups performing on our iconic bandstand.

Adding to the festive magic, The Pantiles will sparkle with Christmas trees, twinkling lights and beautiful decorations, bringing a warm glow to every visit.
New for 2025, we’re delighted to welcome Rudolph’s Runner, an exciting new land train experience delivered by RTW Together BID in association with The Pantiles, Paramount Place by Retirement Village Group, and the UK Government’s Shared Prosperity Fund.
The train will travel through the town and its parks, with a special stop at The Pantiles near The Corn Exchange. On board, passengers will help Rudolph find his eight missing reindeer in a fun and interactive festive adventure.

Choose between a 40-minute full trip (£8.50 per person) or a half trip (£5 per person). It’s the perfect way to arrive at The Pantiles for shopping and dining in style, or to enjoy a magical journey home after a day of festive fun.
